The Sacristy or Vestry

The Sacristy is where the priest prepares for each service and is where most of the church's vestments are stored.

It is also typically the place where during weddings the couple sign the register. The church retains transcipts of the Parish Registers back to 1547. The originals are kept in the Treasury at Christchurch Cathedral in Oxford.
